Picked up some of the smaller berkley frenzy's yesterday (Sunday 17th) from Big W at Waverly Gardens. There's still a few there if anyones interested. Best maybe to call up first though, just incase they've all been sold already.

Hi,

Thanks for the good reccomendations what seems to be a very effective and economical lure :D

Managed to pick up a couple today, just wondering if they only dive to 1.5 M, do you guys put a split shot/ weight to get it to go deeper for your catches in

5-10 Meters of water?

Cheers,
Dave

I only ever use them at their 'natural' depth, but I think a 1/2 Oz ball-sinker about 1m up the line would do the trick for a slowish troll... For faster trolling a 1 Oz ball sinker should work better...

Ran it at natural depth today over some reef beds about 5 meteres deep. Caught 1 squid with it. Quite sure it works well but wonder if it would get more hits if ran a spilt shot ahead of it to get it running about 0.5 -1 meters above the bottom.

Will try bottom bouncing next round to see if this works. Need to pick up some 3 way swivels.

Which ones did you manage to get?

If anyone is after some of the FS6's, I'm going to buy some from the wholesaler $2.82 each plus shipping - I'm not sure how much shipping will be, but hopefully not too much.

If you have specific numbers/patterns, I can order them at the same time (should save on shipping)...

Cheers,

Mike.

Hey Mike - I'd be up for some if you are buying direct. Mainly th esilver one seems to get the big rap. I'm happy to duplicate whatever you are getting or just get me 10 or more of the silvers if you are unsure. I will just use them as my std for saltwater trolling.

Let me know or PM me if you need the cash eft'd your way asap.
