Hiya boys and girls,
Halfway through my chemo now, and still doing pretty good.
The chemo wears you down a bit and makes you tired, with less energy than what im use too, so im resting heaps and taking it easy a lot more than I usually do.
Well, not that I really know how to, but im doing my best!
Im still trying to keep pretty active though, walking the dogs, went on a 10km hike/walk on sunday, and playing squash once a week, even if it did nearly kill me the first week!
Reminder... 3 days of chemo, followed up by squash that night... might of been a bit to keen (stupid hehe) as i fell in a heap pretty quick that night just like I had hit a wall!
So I normally have a day or 2 break and rest up after chemo before I have a hit of squash, which I have felt pretty good while playing.
Had another dose yesterday, then slept most of the afternoon.
My head felt a little tingerly and funny last night, and thismorning the hair started falling out, 3 weeks in before its happened, so I did ok to make it last this long!
So I got it shaved off before. Typical its happened today, as im going fishing tonight! Might have to put 2 beanies on tonight!
Thanks everyone for your well wishes and support as usual, it helps heaps, but im doing pretty good in myself anyway, not quite 100%, but pretty close to it!
Be good
Phil
So.... Which colour wig do I wear to squash tonight!
Or just in standard form..... otherwise I think I will be playing by myself... so to speak 8-[

The romper stomper look isn't too bad at all Phil... though I wouldn't want to run into you in a dark alley
Well done for keeping active and living life as best as possible at the moment.
I keep wanting to say "you're one tough nut mate" but somehow that seems inconsiderate and a tad disrespectful... so I'll just say “you're an inspiration!”

That was the wig I wore to a mates fancy dress party a few years ago.
We had to dress up as your favourite tv/movie character! I went as Johnny Depp as Captan Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Carribean
It ended up a very messy blurry night.... so we were told!
