Progress? Had a visit from the nbn techs to the pole across the road on Friday 31st at about 1.30pm. Now we have no ADSL or nbn. Rang telstra again. They could not tell me when we could have internet again. Good one telstra.

That's beyond ridiculous.

Give Telstra and NBN a copy of whatever you write.

Update again. Rang Telstra yet again this morning 3/8/20. After the 1/2 hour wait we connected and it dropped out after 5 minutes. Start again. 1/2 hour wait yet again, got put through to nbn sales, (Turns out it is still Telstra.) Yes they can see our order, yes it has been accelerated. "Can't understand why it hasn't been happening. The order hasn't been finished." I have heard this already 2 or 3 times. This time I was speaking with Denika. So pleasant and helpful. The solution is to cancel the previous order and start again. This will take up to three weeks which could be 40 days since this whole saga began. A lot different to the 40 minutes they predict in their paperwork. Unlimited plan will be $9 cheaper/month.

I gotta say I would have changed provider long before this and contacted the telecommunications ombudsman just to tell them how good telstra are, you sure hang in there
