Springvale markets have them most of the the time and dont be scared to use second hand ones out of a gummies guts - when you gut the fish on the water you quite often find them in the gut amongst the tiny crabs the gummy has eaten

I've caught many gummies on this second hand eaten Mantis - just hook it up and cast it out

1 x 6/0 or 7/0 hooked just under scale (shell) on top side of tail is how I present it. Bending them in half makes it nice and easy to get the hook in.

I either go with the cocktail look with thousand island dressing or just straight on the plate with dressing of choice :thumbsup:
Jokes aside i think if you feed it up the inside from the tail then that determines how it's presented, one hook of choice :up:

Fyi got 4kg of mantis for 30 bucks today at footscray market, 2 sellers had them
