I have been offered a yak for $350.00 it is an ocean kayak
Tetra 10. It would be a good little creek basher. Alot easier to take away with the wife rarher then lugging half my shed and the AI around on road trips. Price seems right. What are the thoughts ?

Good idea having a second small kayak and the tetra will be better made than the rest of the short cheapies on the market and it seems to have decent storage. Sounds like a good deal. You are not a big guy so wont find it cramped. I use the quest 11 for this purpose and it makes it easier to handle the sometimes dodgy launches you find on rivers etc.

That's what I was thinking. Less weight and gear.
