Hi Folks,
Just a quick hello. Unlike most(?) I think I have more kayak experience than fishing but I'm new to the combo. Would love to join anyone on some PPB trips sometime, I've been launching at Werribee & Altona and plan to try Williamstown soon. I've been wanting to go out to the reef off Altona but would love some company and am yet to invest in a fish finder. I'm pushing a Yellow Revo 13 and tend to have some kind of scarf on my head if anyone wants to say hello!
Also, thanks to all the members for making such a rich community of info and convo, it's made the learning process much easier,
Zac

Welcome to the forum mate, there are plenty of fishos over in the west. Millers road is one of the busier spots on this side so the the weather conditions are good and you rock up you are almost guaranteed to have someone else there heading out especially during snapper season. I'll be keeping an eye on the weather for a trip there this week, need to collect some flatties

Welcome mate, if I'm heading out I'll most likely post something up.
Check out the TTTAF comps as well, they are a great way to get out with lots of members and only about $10 to enter and $10 to join the club (paid annually). Prize pool has exceeded the entry fees in all the comps so far
