Boat ramp we the best spot to launch.
In my teen years I was in the cape surf lifesaving club, and heard many stories of a large shark breeding area a few Ks off shore.
Plus that's right in a weather corridor, from Phillip island, weather tracks down to the prom quite regularly.
Of course it would be possible on the right day with alot of conditioning and gear, but id love to see u have a boat along side incase the sh!t hits the fan.
Good luck with your endeavour
I'd agree with that assessment... we will be extremely careful and we are putting a lot of planning into it.
What part of the assessment?

The part where he says you are "Mad"
I live on the Yorke peninsula I kayak fish stansbury to port Vincent or wool bay edithburgh and catch all sort fish

Thanks, haha
Wish there had been some wind to use it as an AI. Was a lot of work pedalling it around in polynesian mode

But back to the topic of Cody bank. It's not as fishy as I would have hoped. There is plenty of similar or better fishing to be had for less effort.

Big topic of discussion with a let down of an ending... Sorry bout that.

Yeah, I've seen plenty of reports of tuna and kingfish through that area but in a lot closer than Cody Banks.

I actually visited the ramp at Cape Paterson for the first time last Friday to check it out. I'd be keen to launch there some time but would be more likely to head around in the Coal Point direction than further offshore towards Cody.

Currently sitting at the Cape Paterson boat ramp, the town I spent many younger days.
