Daiwa Hobie Kayak Bream Series Round 20 Patterson Lake
Posted: 16 Sep 2013, 15:14
It is almost here.
The Patto, Sunday September 29th, 2013.
Rumours have circulated from the moment that it was announced, that this could very well be the largest competitive kayak fishing event ever held in Australia to date.
Marlo and Bemm River are remote, yet they always attract a big crowd, but Patterson Lakes, nestled in the south eastern districts of Melbourne, and literally a stones throw from the back doors of many of the most dedicated kayak anglers, will be a round almost impossible to ignore by anyone who has not qualified for the Grand Final, or by anyone who considers Patterson Lakes to be 'their local'.
This being said, a potential turnout of 70 plus anglers is most certainly on the cards. Big turnout equals a big pay out, and importantly a significant number of open spots for the Final!
This venue also has a changeable reputation - if its firing, the fishing can be spectacular, but if its tough....it's really tough!
This is the penultimate round of the 2013 Daiwa Hobie Kayak Bream Series, and one that could re-write the record books.
As it stands today, we already have 26 pre-entries, with more sure to follow.
If you are coming please add your name to the list, and we look forward to seeing you at Patterson Lakes!
