HI NICK,

i think my sounder is around $500.
Cant fault the sounder works a treat,have the tranducer running in the hull and it reads very well as you can see and also gives an accurate temp reading.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SOUNDER.

Doesnt have GPS,which if i had my time again i should have gone that way.
I ended up buying a hand held GPS instead.As you asked before the GPS is essential out in PPB
Not just for safety but is an essential tool come Snapper time for locking in good marks,reefs and bottom structure you find on the sounder.
it also shows trails so you can see productive drifts ect.
