Looks like a cross between the revo and pa12, cheaper then the rest of their range too.

Interesting.
Hard to see on that site but it looks like the front hatch has been replaced by a tankwell with cargo net over the top.

I saw this earlier on Facebook and there is plenty of Q&A in the thread that gives more info as well. It looks like a good niche filler but would probably make the PA12 redundant imo.

By the looks of it Shane it's going to target the "entry level" with mirage drive. it'll have a limited feature vantage seat and they've skimped on things like a round hatch rather than the rectangular which would clearly fit from the pics. SLHobie informed me of this when I questioned it.

As you said, plenty of discussion on FB pages
Tuna 20.5kg ---KingFish 90cm --- Snapper 84cm --- Gummy 83cm (55cm legal) ---- Whiting 40cm --- Silver Trevelly 41cm --- Flathead 52cm --- Aussie Salmon 38cm --- Squid 34cm hood

I guess getting rid of front hatch will resolve issue with taking on water in rough water. Wonder how it falls in price wise, closer to outback than PA?

I heard they've molded an aftermarket esky which will slot into the front well for fish storage. And looking at a couple pages I'm guessing this'll be around $2000-$2500

i'm sure there's some dedicated Hobie fan who has upgraded every time a new model is released who'll be camping outside SLHobie for the chance to grab the first one

The colour choices are interesting. The green looks OK but the blue is a bit too much stealth mode for me. The US Navy has been finding out this colour and commercial shipping don't mix well.
