yeah mate the water was the best I have seen it down there, wish it was that good all the time

Merry Christmas mate and all the best for the new year to you and Mrs Digger.
Cheers Merv.

Turns out there is a flaw in the video as well, that egg cluster is not an egg cluster it's a Wandering Anemone, otherwise called Phlyctenactis Tuberculosa

Nice video Merv.
Brings back memories for me and makes me want to join you on a dive some day.
I've dusted & serviced my gear & purchased a new tank - Keen to get wet.
I liked the way you sub titled the names of the fish, it makes the video educational as well as a pleasure to watch.

Not trying to hijack, just seems to make sense to drop in here rather than start a new post.
Finally got my kit together and did a gear check under Rye Pier. Nowhere near as good as Flinders on a clear tide and from memory, you rarely see the dragons here, but still a good way to spend an hour after work. Fairly ordinary visibility on this day but a few things to see.
