Another thought - it may be helpful to rename the files to reflect what time stamps I should be looking at. Would save me some time as it looks like I'm going to have a lot of files to look at. ex: mack-tuna-hookup-2.20-landed-5.30.mp4 (which I would read as hook up at 2.20, fish boated at 5.30)

I'm having issues uploading to the drop box. Each clip is 4gigs. After hours of uploading it seems to stall at 35%. I have high speed nbn so not sure what the issue is???

Hey Josh,

I am the odd man out as I have not shot any video, planning to change that next year. There is a couple of vids of others filming me landing fish but not sure if they will make the cut because of quality. You are welcome to use Steve's footage of me and if possible ask him to provide the youtube link to me.

Cheers,

Tas

Ok they are up but I did have to edit the length to get them to upload.

That was next the option, to cut the videos up. I took 70 gig in total for the week away.

Bugga Kiwi, I haven't had a chance to check them out yet but hopefully the quality wasn't compressed too much when you trimmed them down. I'll let you know how I go.
Tas, hopefully there is some 3rd person footage of you landing some fish. I'll check in with Steve to see if he has some clips of that. He did send me a bunch of footage, but I haven't looked at that yet either. Was tied up all weekend with my son - there was movies to see and video games to play!

I'm free next weekend and plan to sink my teeth in then. I have done some other prep work though. I had a real good track in mind, so I contacted the band responsible for it to see if they'd mind me using it. Sadly the guy who wrote the song is a vegan and didn't want it associated with 'bloodsport' of any kind, so I moved on from that. Fortunately I have a few tricks up my sleeve ;-)

My pleasure Shane. I really enjoy the editing process and I've been wanting to do something like this for the Vic yak fishing scene for a while. I'd be really keen to do a Vyak one in general actually - not from just one trip, but more a best-of-vyak clip. We'll get this one out of the way and if it works out I'll float that idea to the entire clan.

Thanks everyone for sending me some footage to play with
