3 Island Cruise - Port Phillip Bay

Post by maverick »

A video of the trip around the 3 islands in Islands at the bottom end of PPB.
You ended up being correct Shane, no fishing. :lol:

Well past the edge, almost at the point of no return.

Nice video Mav, thanks
Brings back memories of dive trips on the inflatable zodiac almost 30 years ago.
We would entertain ourselves between slack water dives by;
Exploring South Channel Fort. (Looks like from the footage it has been renovated for the tourists).
Trudging through the soft sand on mud island & learning the hard way how the Island got its name.
Drift diving along the walls of popes eye then making our way to the inside by clambering over the rocks.

Like Kiwi said - more than a big day on an outback, I haven't done any trips on the Southern end of the bay on my outback yet.
