New to Kayak Fishing World

Hi everyone just saying G'Day and introducing myself,
I used to hang around on one of the fishing forums for a while as MrI-Fish as I am a teacher and the kids all call me Mr. I. I do a lot of hiking and camping trips and haven't been fishing much in the last couple of years but I am super keen to get back into it so the Mrs. has bought me a $1,000 voucher for Aquayak. Haven't called them to spec up my kayak yet because I am still trying to read all your posts. So much information on here. I love fishing for redfin and trout and will often do this on foot spinning. Hoping to catch a few more table fish by getting into some new locations. Live near Lillydale Lake so plan on making myself sick practising there before I start hitting rivers, lakes and the bays.
Thanks for having me and look forward to learning as much as I can over the next few months.
Cheers
