Re: Waeco esky live tank conversion Manual or Electric?
Converting a waeco 41LT esky into a live tank for a pro angler. I have all the plumbing for both types of setups. I am however interested in what the pros and cons are for each set up. I would also like to see how the plumbing has been configured and anything that needs to be considered. If you pla...

I ran the transducer in the oasis the same way Frank though I cut the bottom out of the plastic container before it was marine gooped in, it worked great just remember to top up the water when needed.

Re: Help: Slab of beers or something to help me wire battery
Anyone got a link to the deep cycle one? That 12Mah SLA should last me 9 hours. I'm interested to see how much a deep cycle would also. Not keen on LiPO atm.. just want this sounder to work. I tried blue block batteries but completely nuffed it up and wasted like $60 A deep cycle battery will not g...

Re: Help: Slab of beers or something to help me wire battery
Go a deep cycle battery they handle a discharge better than a standard SLA battery. Deep-cycle ones are generally a lot more expensive though. I've never even come close to draining the 18AH one and at under $80 it's not a huge cost if it has to be replaced. If longetivity is important then a LiFeP...

Re: Help: Slab of beers or something to help me wire battery
Can anyone recommend a battery for elite ti 5s. I want it to last like 5 hours or so. I have an elite ti 7 and have had success with the 18ah SLA battery sold by Jaycar. It's the same brand as the 9ah one sold by Hobie and roughly the same price (though you'll need to add the connector yourself and...

Re: Oh, bother
What pressure is in the tyres? Have you checked them. Factory pressure. I can't check them as the only gauges I have are intended for cars and cannot reliably read anything under about 10psi. I found my wheels to be under pressure (1lb) from the dealer, I run them at the max 4lb under inflation can...
