Re: Just Two Minutes of Your Time , Please.
Update on Timmy Turtle................. Apparently YouTube has somehow 'altered' the algorithm that monetizes clips and somewhere along the way he has been missing out. See his explanation on his Instagram feed:https://www.instagram.com/p/CH6UIiQn520/ Anyway, try his new vid on the Timmy Turtle Fish...

Re: New toy for post Stage 4
On a different note - I got my Zwift setup and indoor trainer a while back - now that's a great way to burn off nervous energy and not leave your house in 2020! Anybody else on Zwift on here? Since it's almost impossible for most of us to get out on the yak I might as well sidetrack this post and p...

Re: NBN change over
Here in the eastern suburbs we get consistently 45+Mbps, 12ms ping and 19 Mbps uploads. That will comfortably do full HD Netflix on 2 TV's and a HD Youtube clip on a pc simultaneously. Much better than the 5Mbps we got before. (on a good day that was) Still wish they had not weasled out and gone the...

Re: NBN change over
I try to avoid Telstra at all costs. Too expensive, little to no follow up no one seems to care anymore.......... For NBN I stuck with TPG, who we have been with since 1995. Made sure the area was ready to go before I booked an install. Yep, you get letters from T and others saying you can have NBN,...

Re: Kayak tow along - additional storage
What about using 2 pieces of PVC tubing with a flat board attached to the top. Use a 45% end at the towing end to give it a little shape. Screw cap fittings to seal it. Flat ends at the other end. You get catamaran stability and 2 towing points. Quick easy cheap. tow rig.png This is a link to simil...

Re: Kayak tow along - additional storage
Hey Murray; Carrying extra camping gear whilst yakking has always been a dilema. Some successful, and some not so, attempts have been tried and lost. A flat bottom craft will swing and yaw and eventually sink. A keel, chine rails and a rudder will help immensely. A cheap sit on top will suffice as l...
