Cleaning a hobie.
Hello all, Just returned from a week cruising down the murray in a houseboat around echuca. I got home yesterday and washed my hobie spot ( papaya) with warm soapy water and a scrubbimg brush but some of the mud aint coming off the inside ( rough surface area.) Ant suggestions how to get this murray...

Yep. I have done heaps. I butterfly them and soak them in a brine solution of salt, brown sugar and onion powder overnight. Then let them dry till tacky. Sprinkle a bit more brown sugar then smoke the fillets for ten to 15 minutes.

Thanks heaps for the info Andy.. We had a great weekend. We only got 4 trout but they were all beautiful browns over a kilo. Two fish were caught trolling with a rapala rainbow trout pattern and two were caught on a brown trout pattern casting off the wall.
