Just like to say that I do not see the common sense in this new rule as i did have a Hobie Livewell and had nothing but problems with it as it would not work unless it was primed and the switches were always failing that is why most of the entrants when to the manual pump system which was more relia...

I contacted Steve Feilds from Hobie yesterday and he stated "you can have manual, however is also must have functioning, battery operated, intake pump. the intake must pull water from outside the tank"
I am of the same opinion about LIvewell sales.

There are new Live well rules for 2017 . No Livewells under 23 litres and all Livewells must have a Battery powered pump fitted (intake water). Looks like i will have to do some major work before Marlo next Month.

Just seen the rounds for next year and Victoria has lost two rounds one being Marlo that hosted the World Championships not long ago.

Seen the rounds and disappointed have dropped Lake Tyers and moved Paynesville to earlier in year so there is no Victorian round in the second half of the year. Wish they had of spread the Victoria rounds like they have the NSW rounds. See you all at Marlo and Paynesville and maybe Nelson depending ...
