Caught anything lately? Post up how you cooked it here and if it was a success. Doesn't only have to be fish....

One to get the mouth watering

Post by g factor »

Hey guys,

Cooked up the snapper i got last night. Took the fillets off it and prepared each in a different way. First was just shallow pan fried, salt pepper, done ( for the fussy ones as we had a family dinner). Second fillet was done in the oven, with fresh ginger slices, lime and lemon slices, lemon grass, soy sauce, salt and pepper and some chilli. All that wrapped up in foil in the oven for 20 minutes. Also did some sweet chilli garlicy/lemony/thyme prawns that my mum whips up, they are almost sweet and are absolutely amazing. Then had sone smoked salmon with cream cheese, coleslaw, chips, avocado and some rice which we put the sauce of the fish over. Man it was a good dinner
