funny thing is i know of some locals that were looking forward to it....you would think they would know if it will fish ok

i might have to head down anyways and at very least fish the friday& saturday and come home saturday night

Went to Warrnambool Friday and the water is still roaring thru under the Allansford bridge, might be going again tomorrow. I'll check it out and take photos....if I remember.

The River seems to have settled down a bit and there seems to be tidal movement pushing in at the mouth up past the bridge. There's a massive mud bank from the ski club down to the bridge and the water is like a black tea. Called in to Jubilee Park and spoke to a guy fishing from the pontoon at the boat ramp, he hadn't had a bite but said there were heaps of snags that never used to be there. Didn't seem to be all that much current there, in fact I threw a stick in and it floated back to me with the wind pushing it. Allansford bridge looks a bit different, but its hard to tell because of the water rushing over and around the rocks makes it look like a fast flow. Think it will be a month or two before it settles and clears up.

Definitely looks fishable to me...especially down from the ski zone.

I have a mate that should be sending me some photos today...plus he works at bcf and has had good reports of fish being caught
