You would fit in nicely at s/s ghurkin with the unbrella up.
Well past the edge, almost at the point of no return.

Just found this DIY sail
For some reason there is a nude man in a Kayak with a sail???

http://theideaisland.blogspot.com/2009/ ... -sail.html

I suppose it would work with your clothes on.
His sail is all black? Visibility might be an isssue? Might run over a Jetski or one of thoseb Hawaiian paddle thingos
Could always sew in a bit of Bistro blind stuff Bunnings sell it by the metre.
The Hobie mast holder hole is a tad (metric) bigger than 21mm a 19mm internal /21mm external pvc pipe fits like ....................
something that fits.
I'm off to Bunnings
I'll make some good out of this wind yet

Ghurkin, just got back from Tinkerland / Bunnings
I think you could build a frame for about $35-$40 and then you would have to make a sail
Spolight tent material (or old hospital linen bag) non tear stuff.
Saw some 3mm Clear vynl 13.50 Metre x1300 for the bottom of the sail
Maye get a boot maker to do the sewing on an industrial machine.
The tubing I was looking at was Black heavy duty farm irrigation stuff 15mm inner bore and 20-21mm external
They have all the elbows and T's Moght still need a bit of siffening??Maybe, but it looked quite good.
Nearly picked it all up, but thought I better hit the drawing board first.
Must look into packing it all away when not in use.
Probably make it all for around $60
( and a few beeers after )

The Surf is still up at mordy  , maybe I should get a sail board instead?

Thanks Ghurkin
Think it's all the same measurements as our nudist Youtube friend.
Presently working through the viability and the packupability.
Maybe I should just get an environet?

Picked up some raw prawns at the new local Safeway for the big WHITING hunt tomorrow.
Talk about raw prawns, when I opened the seal to the sail mast port on the hobie all this fluid poured out :wtf: :wtf: :wtf: :wtf:
The smell?? Like a long range hikers bely button.....that's where that pillie went?

Yes Beer o'clock, shall dream of sails and things,
one ear listening for that wind to drop for a morning launch.

Tight lines and cold beers
Tony
