Post by Ghurkin »

Found this link the other day and thought it might come in handy, plans and manual $69 US, might just have to start building one of these for the kona.

Surely you could weld something up?
Was thinking along the line of large Pvc pipe with tapered ends.
Great for catching whiting off

There is a guy who had a factory around the back of Mordy and he would make these dry dock thingos for
boats all out of welded plastic, not quite sure how thet worked??/
Maybe filled them put the boat in and then pumped out the water.
Ifeel the tricky bit would be to have "water dynamic" front and ends on it maybe they could be made then slipped onto a
thick pVC pipe
just found this one made from cell foam and fibreglass

a sail

and a plywood one with plan???

It's a great looking vessel gerkin, would love a woody like that one although if it sprays water anything like the AI it would need a pump too.
When we say it's BIG RED SEASON, we don't mean a big red blood stain on the bay,
GET YOUR LIGHTS ON + YOUR PFD'S.

Happy Sailing Fishing and keep blowing bubbles.
Cheers

the plans dont include the yak, theyre just for the amas (pontoons?), crossbars and mast mount, I reckon it would be a cinch to fit this to a placcy yak.
