Anchor trolley, which side??

Post by Ghurkin »

Managed to scrounge some ronstan stainless steel yacht fittings and Ive got an article on how to install an anchor trolley, being the noob that I am to this "sport" I have a question, which side of the yak is better to have the trolley on for a right hander? what have other yakkers found so far? has anyone put it on one side and wanted to move it??

Hmmmmmmm ss bling

I am right handed and like it on the right side although I don't think it would make a huge difference. I keep my paddle on the left so it is easier.

I'm a right hander and have mine on the right hand side. I haven't wanted to move it.

Right handed, Left hand to reel Deprh Sounder on RHS therefore it was easier to keep anchor trolley on RHS as well.
