So with the wild weather it appears a chunk of Frankston Pier was ripped off and floated a few 100 meters .
Frankston might be looking like a good spot in the coming years with these new artificial reefs.

It hasn't been dismasted but somebody has forgotten to put the sail up. I have fished of there hundreds of times but never in those conditions. I have seen green water across the top in years past, but I have never seen the end come adrift.
