Re: Hobie outback upgrade
2nd hand Hobies hold their value well but buyers don't tend to offer more $ for the extras.
They will pay about $1800 for an outback with pre vantage seat.
Any extras that get thrown in is just a bonus for the buyer.

Hi,
What seat did you use?
I have been searching the internet like mad for a seat to upgrade my Dad’s
2014 Outback and it’s hard going. The two main seats that are mentioned are from the USA
- Jackson ergo elite 1.0
- Ascend Seat from bass pro shops
The Jackson is $400ish with a few months waiting time through Australian suppliers and freight
direct from the US is around.
Cheers,
Gus

I'm pretty sure Gozz did one too if you have a look through the archives.
Re: Hobie outback upgrade
Thanks, I think the key thing for me is i’m Looking for a slightly raised mesh style seat like the vantage seat but on my dad’s old 2014 Outback which is sentimental and I inherited when he passed away last year.
Most of the mesh style seats available in Australia have cross bars that are too wide which would Have to be mounting on the gunnells and reduce stability too much.
I’ll search the forums a bit more.
Thanks,
Gus
