I let them all go now - they are such a magnificent creature. Squid are dumb compared to them.

Yes, and some species like the giant cuttlefish have recently been in decline. A lot of people, myself included, will generally put cuttlefish back (unless I'm chasing Kingfish).

l must say l do the same and put them back, a great creature.

I've eaten a few cuttlefish over the years, but now I just can't bring myself to keep them, so back in they go.

Angry yes. Tried to film one under a ledge when spearfishing once, before I could start filming he grabbed the camera and nearly pulled it out of my hand into his cave. I would not have put my hand in their to try and retrieve it :lol:

I haven’t hooked one, but won’t keep it if I do

They eat landing nets and squid jigs. Just release and wace goodbye :)
