Thanks Shane for the reminder.
Anybody heard from or know of the whereabouts of lobo?
I miss his comprehensive reports and generosity with his information.

Can you catch reds at LL? I've fished there a bit and never seen one!

They're quite common there for a lot of the year. Lobo's been the master at finding them in recent years. A bit of advice in this thread:

PS Gee, that last trout pic he posted will remain with me forever. (Just a little stroll over the hill if I remember correctly. :D )

Hi Ian;
Any hints where this was and any links if possible?
That sort of person can't be just cast away and forgotten. :D

Off the top of my head it was Fishlife Magazine but I'm not 100% sure.

You could always try sending his old man a PM: http://vyak.net/forum/memberlist.php?mo ... ile&u=4795

I still remember his last post where he hiked for a couple days and pulls out a decent fish from a river bank in Canada. Must be all that good energy.

You'd think with Loco being away the fish populations would be on the rise. But if there were no fish around he'd still find them.
