I think its too late Steve you,ve got the bug and theres no gettin rid of it now ,, your hooked just enjoy the ride.

That looks great now mate, the old green dunger ghurkin is taking shape. That little yak would be a great river yak where the water is shallow, you will get to spots others only dream about, i would be a bit reluctant to go out wide in the bay on such a small boat though.

Thanks agrojim, found out today after 3 hours out from fishies beach Mornington that the foam is a bit to high density :cry: , might look around for something else.

will do 4x4 yak, will do, my wallet is lighter, I went to BCF got an anchor, a cleat and then went to bunnings for some anchor rope, birthday soon so hoping for some rod holders from the family ;)

It does go well in shallow water although I did manage to run aground in balcome lake, several times :cry:
