I have tipped over wearing very expensive, very light waders with a stocking foot and a wading belt cinched tight. Very similar to dry pants with a bib and shoulder straps. They weigh almost nothing. I did get a little damp but not much. No large amounts of water ingress. I wear sharkskin long johns and socks underneath. More embarrassed than anything else.
