Went for a drive to St Leonard's with the family today, spent an hour swimming under the pier and around the front. Was out from about 10:40 till 11:40, low tide was about 11 so conditions were quite calm. Was surprised as to the amount of fish about, a rather large sting ray with his tail cut off (stumpy) was cruising around. Came across a lobster that would have been size I think but with no experience in grabbing em and nothing to measure with and still a little confused about the intertidal zone I left him alone. A few screen shots from the go pro will put together a video and add later.
