As the header says, who makes the toughest yak? Maybe not the best laid out, or even the best paddler/peddler...but who's the strong arm brand that makes yaks to stand up to punishment? :?:

Can't claim I'm not biased, but Jackson have a record to be proud of in whitewater kayaking and so far my experience with the coosa has been the same, very tough. I did own a Bic Bilbao before this one and that put up with a lot of experimentation without ever falling apart. Still going now in my bro's hands too, and still cathcing fish. Only brands I've had any experience with.

i would have thought the Jackson Coosas were tough as they are mean't for river bashing rather then sleek ocean tracking.

I could have said OceanKayaks but I didn't for one reason, they don't make white water kayaks. In my opinion any kayak manufacturer who make WWK will have the most robust kayaks and that generally flows onto there other models.

For me I personally wouldn't say Hobie have the most "robust" kayaks, maybe the ones without the mirage drive might be better but one to many cracks to say they are the most robust.
