This is the first kayak I have ever had, and after a bit of research on kayaks, taking into account, what I was looking for, features, price and build quality, this seemed to be the best bang for your buck.
I bought it as a 2nds with a slight defect, but it doesnt effect the way it handles or anything, and still came with the full 10 year warranty.
Here it is! Its a Wavedance Kingfisher.
A couple of early pics when I first bought it, then as the pimping starts... from cutting the first hole to install some rod holders to recently adding lights to the beast...
Its first paddle on the Patterson River at Carrum, all new and shiny!
Rod holders installed...
Homemade Sounder & GPS stand made up, fishbag on front, rods in the holders... ready for action!
Battery in waterproof container installed in front hull...
Anchor trolley...
Trimmed milk crate with pvc pipes attached on the sides to hold rods and my flag.
It also has a bungy strap which keeps the crate in place.
I added some lights to it recently, going a bit further than the standard white anchor light, and wanting to make sure I stood out a bit.
Went for some SMD/LED bling yellow lights which run down the deck for a couple of metres!
Im sure there will be more to add to it.... im in the process of setting a sail up on it

I'll catch this bird for you, but it ain't gonna be easy.
Bad fish. Not like goin' down to the pond and chasin' bluegills or tommy-cods.
$10,000 for me, by myself. For that you get the head, the tail, the whole damn thing.

Looks the goods with them lights Fishophil, stinkers will think they have drifted to St Kilda when they see them on the water
