Yep, that is one seriously pimped Kingy. Awesome job Phil, and you are right mate, they've given me a lot to think about and work on.

One question. Is the standard waterproof hatch on yours watertight? Mine filled with water, with car keys in it, faster than I'd have believed. Thankfully the electronic key fob was more waterproof than the hatch though.

most rip that so called water proof bag out - I fitted a divers net bag in there and store tackle in plastic sealed containers
the divers bag is just so the tackle containers are in reach , not sliding to ether end of the yak

some have used cut down washing baskets jamed up under there so the gear stays where you can reach it

as for you keys - I use a plastic screw top food container that fits up the front beside my sounder you can just see the top of it in the pic below

Image

I keep my phone , keys and wallet in it , they stay water proof and I can hear in the phone rings
these days I have another one on the other side to keep sunscreen and zink + some tackle like hooks that I need at hand and wont to keep dry

Hey phill.
I was wondering how you went about the wiring & connection for your flag pole/ light? Did you use a weatherproof plug or something?
I've been thinking about doing something like you did but I want to be able to take it on & off without much stuffing around.
