I've had it (when I was still in the US) and it's not bad. Asian/silver carp taste a lot better, but the common carp isn't too bad. Depends on how you prepare them I guess. In the US it's usually smoked or fried as in the video.

Apparently the ones that live in the clean brackish and salt water are quite good eating but the ones that come from muddy lakes and rivers taste like crap.
