Does anyone know why they canned the kayak event at the Hopkins, would love to have it back so it's a bit closer for me to get into comps. Any feedback would be great.

I think if you do a search it has been covered before, I think it was canned last time because the Hopkins was either flooded, or they had just opened it and there was no water....can't remember.

Hi Stealth - apologies for the delay.
Every season we run will be slightly different - some venues will be included, some won't - its just the nature of planning a year long series, and all the logistics that go with it.

The Hopkins round was subject to some pretty major flood issues at the time it was originally scheduled, and when we did get back there it was a shame that the place didn't fire like we hoped it would.
I would anticipate a return to The Hopkins some time in the future, but unfortunately it won't be this year.
