I never knew...

Post by woowoowoo »

Silly me - I've been casually catching fish out of kayaks for a good few years now, but never even thought to look for a kayak fishing club - duh!

I am looking forward to joining you guys and learning some stuff - I have a hobie outback which I haven't kitted out at all. Mostly just put in at Port Melbourne or Willi for a bit of a larf. Not terribly serious about it, but that may change now I've found this forum!

Been a fly-fisher for 30 years, so am hoping to blend that with my kayak fishing. Any other swoffers doing this?

G'day Andrew and welcome.

There are a few great fisho's that get out down your neck of the woods, and im sure you could get some ideas from them.
Dont worry about getting too serious, for most of us its about having a good laugh and a nice social outing without any presure.
Hell im starting to get a rep for sleeping in im that serious!!..

Joint in on any trips that take your interest or post up your own if you want some company.
Most importantly, let us know how you went!!.

Look forward to catching you on the briney,
Will
