Found these on the US Hobie site, look like handy yak lights. Would they be OK in Australia or does not really matter. I am interested in the ram mounted one.

Luther your a champ mate I appreciate
the time and effort you have put in to help me and will be letting my mates
know of this unit as we all fish from our yaks and this is a great and
simple solution to highlighting our yaks on the water.
Hi James,
Yes, we can ship to Australia for $10
Ping me again in a couple of weeks. We should have the RAM ball ready.
Thanks!
- Luther
Cheers Jim

Re: light and flags
Neat looking unit and the sock/flag is a clever idea. I must be blind but I didn't see any specs for the light size (watts, lumens etc).
Wouldn't mind a close up look at one.

When we say it's BIG RED SEASON, we don't mean a big red blood stain on the bay,

I am interested, especially in the ram mounted one. Seems to get a good amount of hours out of the batteries and I would probably gey rechargeables anyway.
Cheers Geoff

Re: light and flags
These units look pretty nifty but $110 is a bit steep for a light, but they do look good and portable.
I just fitted a 12v, LED allround white light, looked around on ebay etc, got it at BCF for $65.00, stainless steel, adjustable to 48", i mounted it off the black rudder adjustment lid on the PA via a junction box, with a switch, drilled a small hole in the rear (top ) of the cargo area which i fitted a cable gland to, i am going to run all my wiring to the rear 8" tackle box that never gets used on a Hobie. Looks the goods and keeps everything neat, all up about $80.

Re: light and flags
Can you show us the pics Bill. Lighting seems to be one of those things that gets overlooked or done 100 different ways. I just want a light that are simple, and no wiring as this is what always lets them down. I thought these looked good, and they had good reviews. They must be good as they are made in the US of A .
Early days,
