Ha! A manual live bait/bilge pump.

What's the reason behind that? Those pumps cost more then 12v 300gph bilge pumps these days!

Is it just ease of operating/maintaince?

No need to prime the pump, charge batteries, worry about pump dying midway through a comp

Yeah I prefer the sounder up the front in the line of sight.
I also prefer it there than on the mounting boards because I mainly lure fish.
When Im lure fishing I dont put the rod holders in and it gives me free space to work the rod tip from a seating postition on either side of the yak
without anything in the way.

I suppose each to their own.

It's looking good. The deck lighting sure looks the goods. Can you set it for "mood" lighting too, or is it always "disco"? :thumbsup:
