Looks like Im housebound for most of the easter break[bung knee-self inflicted] so instead of sitting idle decided to tackle a small problem thats cropped up of late when carrying rods here there and everywhere. What was happening the rods would fall out of rod holder mk 1 when going over rough roads or on long trips and being graphite rods its only a matter of time before one breaks so I would like to introduce rod holder mk 2.Its very simple and consists of a piece of timber and some plastic pipe and should not be hard for anyone to knock up ,must also say that I like to arrive with all the rods fully rigged to go so thats why I am persisting with this setup .This could also be another storage solution in the shed, anyway time to throw a pics and they will explain it a bit better

Good stuff, PVC would nearly be as handy to a yak fisho as pool noodle

Nice.
I know what I'm doing over Easter now since the car is in the panel shop for 2 weeks.

You don’t drown by falling into water. You drown by staying there
