Yeah, that's what I tried.
Is yours open at the non-film end?
What makes the noise - the film reverberating?
Cheers.

Is yours open at the non-film end? YES

What makes the noise - the film reverberating ? Yes i think so, perhaps the film in yours is perforated?

Hmmm, decisions. Perforated film or perforated ears. LOL, I'll have another play around with it tonight. If I can't get it working, I'll just remove the plastic film and use it as a burley dispenser. Thanks for your help.
Cheers.

G'day,
Been trying to get this horn to work.
Turned the plastic film around - still no sound.
Pushed the plastic film right against the mesh - still no sound.
Wrapped the plastic film around the top of the main unit then pushed the meshed end back on - OMFG. Nearly blew me head off.
Jumped about a foot in the air.
Might need to attach a pair of earplugs to this thing.
Cheers.

Nice, "sounds" like you have it sorted.....

I think I might add an extension tube to it so I can blow it away from my ear,
