Figured I'd better do the right thing and finally say hello (thanks for the reminder Angryseal). I generally fish around Black Rock, Sandringham and Brighton...mainly 'cos it's convenient. Sandy Yacht club is my fav spot. Not the fishiest of spots but a sheltered launch beside the pier and if it's really horrible I can always lurk around the boats and I almost always catch a flattie or two. Never been a fan of boats (noisy, expensive things) but I love the freedom that the yak brings (having been a land based fisho in the past) and the solitude.
I love the concept of the Vic Site...far more relevant to us mexicans. Well done widsa and mtfisho...keep up the good work.
Cheers
Sue

G'day Swit,
Sandringham is my favourite local spot too. Always sheltered from those damn seabreezes.. Had some awesome sessions there recently. Hopefully see you on the water sometime.
Cheers

welcome aboard Sue, plenty of easy protected launch sites down this way in the right conditions.
Well past the edge, almost at the point of no return.

Ahh, another local who may be able to teach me about the NE area of PPB. Welcome!
