Canvas 4WD seat covers should keep you out of the dog house but only for the seats. Sand and mud on the floor, crud on the inside door trim and centre console, fish water on the boot carpet... the list of potential grievances goes on and on. "Other than to take you fishing, what use is a car", doesn't seem to cut the mustard.happyas wrote: As for fishing pants on leather, SSSSSSH.
A fishing-mate used to take the family Falcon fishing on our annual week long trips at Bemm river. We left boats at the ramp but took content home for security. He was not careful with the bait pump or bait and always put fish in leaky containers in the boot for the trip between ramp and accommodation. There was no cover on the boot carpet. Bits of worm, fish slime, fishy water, blood. You name it, you'd find it the carpet. By the end of the week you wouldn't believe the stench that permeated the car. Every time at the end of the week: "Marty's going to give me trouble when I get home".

Lol steve, not to mention the smell takes forever to leave the car i once traveled the south west coast of W.A with a pack of squid in the back of my wagon, mid summer after every days fishing the bait was taken out of the car once we found the nights camp site, funny thing was the ranker the bait got the more fish i caught with it. The only reason we put up with it was the fact it got better as time went on (not the smell ).

Stale bait. I fish Bemm as well. Black prawns out fish fresh one every time. BUT, I don't think I would store them in the back of mom's new Honda. I like my anatomy in its present shape.
