Sounds decidedly unpleasant and not something I would like to encounter but reminds me that I must put a new liner in the MIG welder.

Lol if only we could replace our liner so easy ;) Lain, putting a disposable ear plug before the wire feeder helps keep the liner clean, often the manufacturer supplies a felt one, these usually are fitted by a slit which allows metal fragments and dust past the feed rollers, were as the wire is punched through the earplug leaving next to no room fore particles to get into the liner.

Still uncomfortable ten days post op. Still got pink wee. Still burns to pass urine, BUT it is slowly improving. I don't think jamming an ear plug down there is going to help (lol). Jeebuz but I hope it is all worth it.

Please excuse my previous ramblings. Strong pain killers upset your thinking a little bit. Still sore but off the strong ones. Thanks people.

Panadeine Forte, I had them and the house was full of people all day, hundreds of them and I din't know any of them, they all seemed very friendly and they didn't leave a mess.
SWMBO came home and they all left although she never saw them.

Hey Larry,
Sadly my time is up. I'm booked in for the same procedure next Tuesday, and just as the snapper season is kicking off
How long did you wait after your op before feeling comfortable to get back in the yak?
