Awesome! I'll be keeping an eye on the weather for a possible day. Sunday is the only day I have free so hopefully we get a really good sunday soon.

I'd be up for a fishing trip out there sometime when we're back. Looks like an easy enough trip on the right day.

Loving this. I bet youd be the first fleet of yaks to fish cody banks. Now i realise what people on kayaks are capable, given conditions this is more than doable

Probably a good time to visit this idea again. Pic from a Vic spear fishing page, caught today.

A bit of settled weather with medium winds and only a 2 hour drive to the launch site. Should be an easy day trip with an early start.

It's mostly known as a Kingy spot over summer. Tuna will be about, especially as they've become more widespread, but less reliable. A month or two ago may have been better.

Hahaha, we keep re-visiting this idea and never get around to it. It is well and truly within reach these days. And I do like tuna.

I remember the first time we spoke about this and it was like "ew 15k's off shore, that's a long way" but it is only about halfway to Julia Reef.

I will try to keep it in mind for a favourable weather weekend. Maybe not the ideal time, but keen to have a look one day.
