New Squidgies

Post by erik the viking »

Squidgy has been fully taken over by Shimano, and they have modified the formula of the plastic that is supposed to make them a bit more like a ZMan.
There are some new colours and shapes to boot.

However, if you have a look at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lodgdxr7xAk you will see a very efficient and economical alternative!!!!!!!!!!

PS Timmy Turtle spent over $150 to do a complete colour challenge on the ZMans.
He could have just got one the colour and saved himself all that messing about. ( Blonde Dready colour) :yahoo:

Re Squidgy lures - glad to see a company with resources and money finally woke up, been thinking about using biodegradable thermoplastic elastomers for years to make my own soft plastics but put it in the too hard basket for small volumes, seemed like a no brainer. Gulps are stinky crap that leak everywhere and dry out and all the other soft plastics are toxic waste that for some stupid reason we can dump in our waterways without getting fined. Seriously if we were throwing any other plastic junk into the bay it would be considered littering.

Doubt Timmy bought those zmans tbh.
The dready however is the innovative product of 2017 and an early favourite for some awards at afta
