Went for a fish this morning and managed a few but this little one was the most determined of them all to get hooked.

Re: Galey's Vids
This is from a fish I got a few nights ago. Some rookie moves in here folks but desperate times require desperate measures. Some language involved. Yes I do crush my barbs, yes it went in a long way and yes it hurt.

I had originally planned to take the fly rod that night, now THAT would of been better.laneends wrote:Doesn't get any better than that

Re: Galey's Vids
I get this quite a bit with the fly rod. Boils and rolls, under and behind the fly. I've had a couple of encounters with this fish and haven't nailed it yet. I got a view of it's white flank as it turned this day and it's a decent fish.

Re: Galey's Vids
A couple of weeks ago I landed a cod and reached behind me to grab my grippers but found nothing. Couldn't for the life of me work out what happened to them so decided to review some footage and here it is. Watch the careful placement of said grippers. Fishing is way too relaxing.

Ha!! I did that with a rod. You're right, too relaxing... until all hell breaks loose
Live long, fish hard and hopefully catch something.
