No, really. I'm moving to Altona...

Post by Ramma »

Just paid the Bond and I'm moving this weekend if I can manage it. 1km from the water near the golf course.
Now all I need the time to get S#!^ done. 10 hour days are the go at the moment. Looking forward to some serious fishing time. Snapper season is coming and I think there are less sharks than at Torquay.
Now I'm becoming a westie, do I need to lose any teeth? I've got a big chip off one from a night where my face met the edge of a 5L VB keg. Is this enough?

I must say that Altona is a much nicer place than I remembered from many years ago. Cleaned up a treat and to be that close to the water would have to feel good.

Nasman.

You missed the report from last season didn't you?
Recap, BIG great White circles boat off Altona. :wave1:

Look on the bright side, surely it wouldn't return to the same place this year!?? :shifty:

Verses my personal account. "Were you off Torquay in a kayak 2 weekends ago?"
"Yes, I was"
"You're fucking nuts! Went out with a mate the week before and had a shark chewing on the burley cage on the back of the boat"
"Didn't see one myself while I was out"
"You sparkys are all half mad anyway."
"Thank you for your expert commentary as regards the Mental well being of me and my Trade. Now, dig my trench."

Makes Torquay seem less safe. Pity really, it was very pleasant out that day.
