Rod holder and Tackle tray mount

Post by maverick »

With the pending electrification of the OK yak, I needed to mount some new rod holders. So I decided to use some existing berkly rod holders I had and some existing mounting screws that were already in the yak. Again still no holes drilled in the yak. I also added a sliding tackle box so that I have easy access to changing lures. (something I was lacking a bit before). A few bends in the ally, stainless screws and pop rivets and vola....... Time to test it as soon as I can, it won't interfere with the paddling and I can see the rods when I am trolling and or bait fishing.

Well past the edge, almost at the point of no return.

Nice job Pete, Its getting very intersting to see when the "DRILL" is going to come out. I like the tackle tray idea, very neat.
Cheers Bilby.
