I suspect your talking about the J4 or deep sub . This is a very popular dive site ( as are most wreck & sunken sub sites in Vic ) . It is often used as a wreck diving training site & most calm weekends you`ll often find dive boats there . Plenty of info on dive forums etc . Dived it once over 20 years ago , didn`t see any snapper but it wasn`t winter . A lot of the Snapper officialdoms believe when the snapper leave western port the head east & when they leave port phillip they head west .
