I may be looking for a new 2nd hand yak in the near future and I was hoping for some advice as to what to look for when the time comes.
My weight is about 83 kgs and I'm about 1650 short
My preferences are for a yak 12 to 1`4 feet long, under 30kgs, very stable.,very quick and easy to paddle.
Looking to go fishing for gummies out from LL & JJ.
Budget around$1000 $1200
I think the yak (pup) that I have atm is just a wee bit small

X3 on the Kingy. You just can't go wrong and you'll get quite a bit of change out of $1200 for pimping etc.
cheers Ray

Re: Which Paddle Yak (I know it's been asked before)
although I wont to upgrade to a prowler my vote is the kingfisher is still the best value for money yak avalable
I dout if anyone that owns or has owned one will knock them
at around $ 800 brand even adding some money for extras they work out cheap and do most things very well
even after upgrading I plan to keep my kingy as a spare and to use in skinny waters
